Online Ticket Purchases

Passengers purchasing tickets on this website will have their tickets delivered to them via email. The passenger will need to provide a valid email address and will need to print out the ticket once it has been received. Passengers are required to bring the printed ticket with them to present to a member of the GoBus/ Barons Bus staff at the boarding point.

Online Ticket Purchase Redemption

Online tickets must be printed out and are good ONLY for the passenger, date, and time listed on the ticket.

Each adult passenger with an Online Ticket must bring the printed ticket along with a valid photo ID. The name on the ID must match the name on the printed on the ticket.

Online Tickets are good ONLY for the date and time printed on the ticket. The passenger should present their ticket to a GoBus/ Barons staff member at the boarding point. The staff member will collect the ticket at the time of boarding.

GoBus / Barons Bus reserves the right to refuse any ticket that has not been printed out, is presented without proper ID, or shows a different date, time, and/or passenger name than what is listed on the ticket.

Tickets to Travel

Passengers should keep their ticket safe, as replacements will not be issued. Passengers must show or purchase their ticket as they board. The ticket remains the property of GoBus/ Barons Bus and must be produced for inspection and, if requested, be surrendered upon demand to an authorized official of GoBus/ Barons Bus.

If the passenger does not have a proper ticket, they may be asked to purchase a cash ticket — otherwise the passenger will not be permitted to use any GoBus service.

GoBus makes every effort to have a seat available for passengers holding an Online Ticket. While purchasing your ticket online helps to ensure a seat is available, it is not a guarantee.

Ticket Validity

An Online Ticket entitles the passenger to use GoBus during the specified times, dates, and locations only. When the ticket expires the passenger must either leave the bus at the next available opportunity or purchase another ticket. Extensions will not be given.

Departure Points and Time

GoBus endeavors to provide departure points and times for the service which are as accurate as possible. However, GoBus reserves the right to vary such departure points and times without notice, as circumstances require.

Getting On the Bus

Passengers should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time to ensure enough time to locate the correct pick up point and to ensure the bus leaves on time. Please do not wait inside a vehicle or building.


Each passenger is allowed two (2) pieces of checked baggage. Additional pieces of baggage will be accepted if space is available. One (1) carry-on bag plus one (1) small personal item can be taken on board for each adult or child. All carry-on bags must fit in the overhead compartment or under your seat. All baggage is subject to be searched.

GoBus / Barons Bus is not responsible for lost or stolen luggage, including but not limited to, checked luggage, carry-on items, and other personal items.

Ticket Refunds and Exchanges

GoBus tickets purchased through the GoBus website are refundable under certain circumstances. All refund requests must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time and date printed on the ticket, and during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM—we are closed on certain holidays, so please plan accordingly. A list of our holiday closures can be found on the following page: http://ridegobus.com/about-us/contact-us. No refunds will be approved after the scheduled departure date and time. In addition, no refunds will be permitted for tickets that were reissued. Exceptions will be granted for significant route delays or route cancellations. To request a refund, customers can call us at 888-954-6287 at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time and date printed on their ticket.

Tickets can only be reissued prior to date of travel. The reissue must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time and only during regular business hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. No reissues will be approved after the scheduled departure date and time. Exceptions will be granted for significant route delays or route cancellations. While a reissue does not require a reason, a reservation will only be reissued one time. A reissued ticket cannot be reissued a second time or be refunded.

GoBus tickets are good ONLY for the date, time, and passenger printed on the ticket. We can only reissue tickets purchased through  ridegobus.com. Greyhound tickets can only be reissued by Greyhound.

Delays or Cancellation of Service

Adverse Weather Conditions. Every effort will be made to maintain operations during adverse weather conditions; however, safety is our primary concern. GoBus reserves the right to delay or cancel service. Passengers can call 888-954-6287 for up to date travel information.

Delays. GoBus makes every effort to stay on schedule; however, occasionally delays happen due to weather, construction, traffic, mechanical issues, etc. When the buses get behind schedule, passengers are notified via the website and social media. (Please note, buses that arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled arrival time are considered to be on-time.) Passengers are encouraged to call 888-954-6287 to check if the bus is running on time.

Cancellation of Service. GoBus reserves the right to cancel service due to adverse weather conditions or other safety related concerns.


Any passenger under the age of 12 must be accompanied by another passenger at least 17 years of age or older at all times. Passengers that are 12 to 16 years of age may travel unaccompanied at full adult fare when certain conditions are met in their entirety and an Unaccompanied Child Form has been filled out and submitted to GoBus / Barons Bus by a parent, guardian, or legal custodian.

Children 5 years old and younger ride for free with a full-priced adult ticket. Children 5 years old and younger do not need a ticket to board the bus. Limit two (2) children 5 years old and younger per full priced adult ticket. If more than two (2) 5 years old and younger children are riding with an adult they may be required to purchase a ticket. Children 6 years and older must have a ticket to board the bus.

Young children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Passengers are permitted and encouraged to use child safety seats on GoBus. However, if the bus is full, the seat space may need to be purchased.

Accident or Loss

Please take care of all personal property. GoBus will not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to negligence by GoBus or Barons Bus, in which case our liability is limited (except for death or personal injury) for damages to a maximum of the refund of the ticket price.

Onboard Restrictions

All passengers should remain seated while the bus is in motion. For everyone's safety and comfort, passengers are to follow certain restrictions while on board. No smoking. No alcohol. No illegal drugs. No weapons. No unruly behavior.

Photography, video, or audio recording of GoBus/ Barons Bus personnel, equipment, or procedures is prohibited.

No dogs, cats, birds, or other animals will be transported. However, a service animal trained for the purpose of accompanying a person with disabilities will be permitted to travel at no additional charge.

Prohibited Items

Acids, ammunition, animals (other than service animals), combustible liquids, compressed gases, corpses, cremated remains, explosives, firearms of all types, fireworks, flammable liquids, furniture, hazardous materials (poisons, radioactive materials, etc.), illegal drugs, materials with a disagreeable odor, matches, merchandise for resale, protruding articles, or any unsecured articles, including those in plastic or paper bags, are prohibited.

Prohibited checked items: Electronic equipment (televisions, stereos, gaming devices, laptop computers, computers, etc.), film (flammable), illegal drugs, and perishable items (food). These items may be sent using  Greyhound Package Xpress with appropriate packing. Items such as money and prescription medication may not be checked as baggage and are to be carried in the customer's possession.

Laptop computers are considered "electronic items" and are prohibited as checked baggage, however they may be brought aboard as a carry-on item.

If you have any questions about what specific items are allowed on board GoBus or Greyhound (as carry-on or checked), please check Greyhound's Prohibited Items List. Some items we allow on the list may be considered illegal on board public transportation in certain states. GoBus and Greyhound will follow local law in these cases.

Passenger Can Be Asked to Exit the Bus

GoBus/ Barons Bus reserves the right to ask passengers to exit the bus for failing to follow the terms and conditions stated above or in the online Rider's Guide. GoBus/ Barons Bus also reserves the right to ask passengers to exit the bus if the passenger's behavior or actions are deemed unsafe or threating to other passengers, the driver, or the bus and its’ equipment.

By checking "I agree with the terms and conditions for online ticket purchases,” the passenger agrees with the expectations and requirements stated above and on the online Rider's Guide.
